Sleep Cycle is an “intelligent alarm clock that analyzes your sleep and wakes you in the lightest sleep phase – the natural way to wake up feeling rested and relaxed. ” Users set a time that they have to wake up by and how long they want the “wake-up phase” to be.
-By actively tracking my sleep, I tended to make efforts to go to bed earlier and therefore slept longer.
-I could view how long I slept, how well I slept, etc. and make changes to my lifestyle based on that.
-If the phone fell off the bed (which it did quite a lot for me), then it wouldn’t be able to track movement or sleep cycle.
-It is easier to snooze when the phone is on the bed.
-The app claims to wake you up at a point in the sleep cycle so that you feel most rested and relaxed, but I didn’t feel much of a difference.
-It costs $0.99. Not that much, but also not free.
